Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 12-muffin pan. Combine flour, cornmeal, almond milk, bananas, maple syrup, butter or oil, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl until batter is smooth; pour half of the batter into the prepared muffin pan.
Combine the streusel ingredients and 2/3 of the mixture across the 12 muffins.
Divide the remaining batter among the muffin pan and sprinkle the remaining streusel on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. once cooled, drizzle with icing and enjoy!
Store at room temperature for 3 days or in the fridge for up to one week.
