Protein & Energy Chocolate Bites

My protein + energy bites are like healthy brownie batter, only better!

Total Time 1 hour 25 minutes
Servings 30 Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 32 mejdool dates pitted (I used @Joolies dates)
  • 2 cups strong coffee
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 2 cups other nuts of choice I used @hukitchen chocolate almonds
  • 1 cup cacao
  • 1/4 chia seeds
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Soak dates in freshly-brewed warm coffee for 15 minutes.
  • Blend until smooth with 3 tablespoons of the coffee.
  • Add remaining ingredients and form into tablespoon-size balls.
  • Chill for an hour.
  • Store in the fridge tightly sealed for up to 10 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Enjoy!
